Test Automation Engineer
Location: Hildesheim, Germany
Start date: ASAP planned commissioning period approx. 18 months
Description of the work to be carried out
- Participation in international project teams with focus on Vehicle Computer Platform/Autonomous Driving" and Information and Entertainment in Vehicles
- Definition and Implementation of a Strategy for Test-Automation with special focus on Continuous Delivery and also functional safety aspects
- Participation in definition and implementation of test-management improvements especially with focus on Vehicle Computer and Autonomous Driving activities
- Close cooperation and alignment with architects and integration-team
- Porting of test-framework(s) and test-cases of the ADIT Linux platform to new application processors
- Requirements-engineering, architecture, design and documentation of corresponding components
Required knowledge, skills, and attributes
- Good to excellent degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics or physics
- Experience with software development with Embedded Linux or QNX is a precondition
- Experience with test-automation and test-management tools
- Experience with Build and Revision-Control-Systems for Embedded Linux (and QNX)
- Ability to cooperate with developers and suppliers in an international environment
- Very good skills in English language
