Together with my client from the insurance industry I am looking for a Hadoop experte (m/f/d).The goal is to develop the Big Data & Analytics platform further.
Your tasks:
* Take on subject matter responsibility for Hive, Spark and Solr within the big data platform and drive forward implementation of these components within the big data platform using Azure HDInsight and Azure Datalake Store
* Collaboration with Operations team and the Microsoft product group for optimization and resolving any issues that may come up
Your skills:
* Very good knowledge of IT acquired in various positions (requirements engineering, consulting, development, etc.) and therefore an in-depth knowledge of the processes in software development (agile project methodology, object orientation, etc.)
* Some years of experience in designing and implementing data & AI solutions as a software engineer
* Very good Hadoop system engineering and administration and troubleshooting skills
* Very good Hive, Spark and Solr skills - specifically: HDInsight, Hortonworks, Hive, Spark, Solr, Azure Datalake Store
* Very good skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development using Powershell / ARM Templates, Azure DevOps (Build Pipelines, Release Pipelines) and Ansible
* Fluent spoken and written business English, German advantageous
