For our client, a leading international high tech manufacturing company based in Munich, we are currently looking for a Backend Chip Designer (f/m/d) with Synopsys (ICC/ICC2) on a freelance basis.

Location: Munich
Project Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 - 12 months

Project Description:
- design, synthesise, place & route and verification of advanced structures and circuits in most modern FINFET technologies for early Si-verification of IP/Foundational IP/key performance indicators and sign-off.
- Support the early implicit pipe-cleaning of the design flow (pre-Alpha-user).

Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in digital semi-custom design and the related EDA tools
- Absolute must-have: ICC/ICC2 respectively INNOVUS expert know how
- 28nm or 16nm experience, experience with more modern nodes (14/10/7/...)

Nice to have:
- Design Compiler (synthesis)
- Verilog netlist generation
- UPF file generation
- RTL programming (Verilog/VHDL)
- TCL Scripting
- Design constraints (timing, voltage, corners)
- NDM view generation
- Skill Scripting
- Experience with Windows, Office tools and UNIX/Linux systems required.
