I am urgently searching for a freelance Python developer for a client of mine based in southern Germany.
My client can offer 100% remote work.
The project is to start in February and will last for 6 months, with the option for extension.
German language skills are preferred but not required.
You will be developing, extending and supporting my clients existing Back End system as well as being involved in the conception and development of new software solutions and architectures.
Background:
- Python
- SQL and NoSQL (eg PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch)
- HTTP, JSON-RPC, REST
- Linux systems (preferably Debian)
- Distributed systems and large amounts of data
- Benchmarks, performance optimization and unit tests (pytest) is an advantage
- Puppet, Grafana, Prometheus, Kafka, Rabbit MQ is an advantage
