Project:
- Help architect, build, iterate and manage a global mobile Android application
- Ensure that code is compliant with the latest design standards and best practices
- Mentor other Android developers in the team in architecture, process and the different aspects of a large scale Android app
- Help to raise the overall skill and quality level through pairing and design/code reviews
- Push forward the testing strategy including unit and UI tests
- Partner closely with front-end, back-end, iOS and product team members to continuously improve the global Android app
- Research and prototype new solutions to difficult problems
Your profile:
- At least 3 years of experience in Android development
- Enthusiasm for Android development, beautiful, pragmatic code and an eye for simplicity
- Expert understanding and experience with the Android platform
- Proficient in how to use DDMS and the Android Developer Tools
- Expert programming skills in Kotlin
- Good knowledge in testing frameworks, e.g. experience in JUnit, Robolectric, Espresso
- Expert know-how in object-oriented software design and design patterns
- Proficient experience with client/server architectures using HTTP, REST, XML and JSON
- Back-end, web front-end or iOS experience is a plus
- Real-life reference or open-source projects (Github / Bitbucket / Stackoverflow Account) is a plus
- Fluent in English
