- Installation and configuration of servers in different customer environments, reflecting
different needs and requirements
- Microsoft Cluster (Local und Geo-Spanned)
- New and Re-Installation of  servers with Windows Operating Systems
- Planning and implementing the configuration of the customer servers as well upgrades and
updates

Experience with the following applications and tools:
- BMC Bladelogic
- Quest Authentications Services
- Monitoring Tools like Nagios, HP Insight Manager, IBM Director
- Altiris
- mbsascan, shavlik,
- Expert technical background with Windows server operating systems
- Very good knowledge in automation technologies (e.g. Unattended Installation, Postinstallation
steps, template creation)
- Scripting (Perl, VB, Powershell)
- Experience with large, non homogeneous landscapes (> 1000 server)
- Server storage connectivity (SAN and NAS)
- IT Security Knowledge
- Domain knowhow (Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, Trusts)
- Optional Virtualization (VMware, KVM, XEN, Hyper-V) and/or Linux experience
