Job Overview
OSS Technical Manager will be responsible for management of overall OSS activities for major telecom company in Europe. He/ She will work closely with OSS Architect and other team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery. He/ She will be part of all client meetings and will take care of all SLA and KPI measures agreed with customer.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead the team working on OSS Application
• Interacts with key customer contacts and decision makers to consult on customer objectives
• Establish credibility and demonstrate technical leadership to the customer.
• Create project plans and ensure that they are followed
• Identify project risks and create plans to mitigate them
• Understand the SLA and KPI measures agreed with customer and make sure all the targets are met
• Monitor the availability, performance and throughput of supported IT applications.
• Manage quality assurance programs.

Essential Skills:

• 10- 20 years of IT experience in OSS domain
• Resource, competency and conflict management
• Good understanding of the Telco product portfolio and OSS principles, processes, technology and application engineering.
• Sound knowledge of Telecom networking and telecommunication technologies.
• Good knowledge of Business models, Operating models and Business strategies
• Good program mgmt. and presentation skills - costing , budgeting , P&L , Risk models, Project roadmap, WBS and other details.
• Client and delivery management
• Strategic planning
• Quality Management

Essential Soft skills:

• Advanced knowledge of English, German knowledge will be highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Ability to communicate required information in a clear and understandable manner
• Ability to engage with and seek input from others to ensure delivery to agreed timescales.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to follow tasks through to completion.
• Customer focused and goal orientated with keen attention to detail.
