Embedded Electrical Engineer- up to €100 p/h -30 Minutes from central Stuttgart- January Start- 12 months +
Our client located 30 minutes from central Stuttgart is looking for an Embedded Electrical Engineer with experience with Linux Kernel and Kernel module development, as well as Linux driver development (eg, wireless, network stack). Though this is primarily a hardware position, our client would like experience with software development (C/C++). Additional required experience/skills include familiarity with CAD software, knowledge of Cisco Router/switch configuration and management, experience with electronics schematics and mechanical diagrams, and experience with enclosures and their design.

Required:
Must have at least five years of ANSI C/C++ programming experience developing software for Linux systems
Significant experience with the following:
o Linux Kernel and Kernel module development
o Linux driver development (eg wireless, network stack)
o Embedded/custom Linux distribution development/management
o Cross-compiling and porting
o UNIX Shell Scripting
o Network application development
o Distributed systems and network protocol development
Familiar with CAD software
Knowledge of Advanced Cisco Router/switch configuration/management
Experience with Enclosures and their design
Experience reviewing layouts/electronics schematics and mechanical diagrams
