Beschreibung

We are looking for a SharePoint Solution Architect to work at our multinational client in Munich

Tasks:

  • Working extensively with the business and the IT stakeholders to understand and translate user requirements, functional and non-functional into a fit for purpose solution.
  • Act as the architectural lead in a project, designing new IT services or making changes to existing ones and presenting the architecture and design as a set of prescribed viewpoints in the different Architecture domains (Business, Application, Data and Infrastructure) enabling governance and implementation.
  • Propose solution alternatives to business automation needs that are not supported by standard solutions, presenting the merits and disadvantages of each. Write the technical specifications for the customisation or application development based on the product descriptions and the business requirements.
  • Perform Architecture reviews to verify that the solution to the business problem is integral and will deliver the required functional and non-functional requirements in line with stated architecture direction.
  • Consistently apply principles that guide solution decisions for business change and infrastructure projects, in collaboration with other solution architects and under the guidance of the Enterprise Architecture.
  • Determine the potential impact of industry and market trends in the respective area, and make recommendations for changes and improvements.
  • Develop Proofs of Concept as proposals to answer Architecture concerns.
  • Manage Non-Functional Requirements to support the business requirements and being accountable for the system to comply with those requirements.
  • Take ownership of required architecture governance deliverables and deliver results against respective timelines.
  • Audit of the current Microsoft 365 and SharePoint infrastructures
  • Fine-tuning of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint farms and peripheral elements
  • SharePoint on premises and Office365 security hardening
  • Migration of non-standard site collections to SharePoint 2019
  • Migration of non-standard site collections into Office365;(some are requiring the modification of in-house developments to be compatible with Office365)
  • Optimisation and automation of the Office365 procedures
  • Microsoft 365 and SharePoint: refining governance model
  • Microsoft 365 and SharePoint: selecting and implementing best practices

Required skills

  • Long and broad experience with all SharePoint 2010/13/16/19 aspects and related products
  • Long and broad experience with Office365 aspects and related products
  • Long and broad experience with SharePoint developments and related products (in particular to adapt applications from the farm solution model to solutions compatible Office365)
  • Extensive practice of security hardening in all SharePoint aspects (experience with Microsoft Security Assessments is an asset)
  • Extensive practice of high availability and disaster recovery approaches for SharePoint
  • Sound knowledge of FAST search
  • Experience with AutoSPInstaller, PowerShell DSC automated installation, and SPDocKit
  • Certified Professional for Requirements Engineer is an asset
  • ITIL certified is an asset
  • Being active in a multi-cultural environment, the Contractor shall have a very good level of English both written and spoken. The knowledge of other EPO official languages (German and French) will be appreciated.
