Our client is the world’s leading provider of innovative value-added services to the airfreight industry in the field of e-communications and automation.To be considered as a successful candidate for this position, you should have the following education or relevant experience:
• Implementation of EDI based B2B communications, preferably for at least 2 years
• Hands-on experience in setting up and using various EDI formats - EDIFACT, XML, CARGOIMP etc.
• Experience in technical pre-sales
• Proficient knowledge of communication protocols such as MQ Series, FTP, SMTP, SOAP etc.
• Interested in logistics / airfreight
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and in parallel
• Customer oriented attitude and excellent organisation and communication skills
• Experience in Software AG Webmethods or other BPM tools, programming/scripting, TCL, Linux/Unix
• Languages: high level of professional English; (French, German and or others will be a plus)
Tasks of the position:
• Provide technical pre-sales support (project sizing, technical analysis, project planning)
• Provide technical consulting (internal/external)
• Manage EDI product implementation projects for new and/or existing customers from start to finish
• Develop and maintain conversion tables and scripts for other projects
• Provide 2nd Level support to customers (if required also 1st level support)
