Your Tasks

• Developing the software design based on requirements and architecture, implement the software and ensure the quality of your software before integrating your change packages.
• You need to ensure that all positive and negative test cases are working as the customer expects to and the system is all the time in an available state, even in a fail situation. The availability of the system is mandatory after all flashing procedures.
• The flashing procedure should be fully working and tested with the customer tools and should ensure the flashing of all needed binaries (in case the system consists of several controllers and/or the system has several interconnected parts - master and slaves - all binaries should be successfully flashed)
• The coding feature is a customer specific feature and its purpose is to customize the ECU depending on the vehicle line. As an example, all vehicle line related parameters: e.g. ECU position or algorithm customizable parameters should be part of the coding file. The coding features allows the supplier to provide one single SW for all vehicle lines, regardless of the vehicle specific parameters (which are handled in the coding file)
• Generic responsibilities are as following:
  • Estimate all received tasks from the change management system (e.g. PTC IM), provide daily updates documented in the PTC items and commit for a successful delivery of each task;
  • All estimates should be according to the actual tasks and should be committed by the engineer
  • Ensure all delivered output is according to the quality standards and fully functional considering the customer requirements
  • All development related activities (QAC, code reviews, commits in the versioning tools, etc) should be performed in order to consider a development task completed
  • Daily reports for all tasks in work

Your Skills

• Embedded C and C++ development for more than 5 years and experience within safety critical automotive series projects
• Testing and debugging experience with debuggers like Lauterbach and tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, wireshark
• Coding activities (BAC modules, coding state machine, etc)
• A-SPICE, ISO 26262, MISRA, HIS metrics, Autosar
• Experience with FuSa related activities involving the Coding feature
• Practical embedded C and C++ development for more than 5 years and experience in automotive
• Fluent in German and English
