Duration: 2 months

Skills required
VMware, ESXi, vSAN, (RedHat Enterprise Linux- not required but of advantage)
Language Required German (preferred), English
Security requirements To be handled as a Dark Site - Dedicated security area

Duration details  No SRS connection allowed by customer (Dark Site). Onsite presence desired, remote sessions potentially possible.
Role Description vSAN Ready Nodes installation (3 nodes as 1 cluster) as backup target for a VxRail Cluster (5 nodes) and its running VMs respectively.
Validates that the equipment is on site at the appropriate location with power and cable requirements met.
R&S Dell EMC vSAN Ready Nodes.
Deploys ESXi on Dell EMC vSAN Ready Nodes.
Validate vSAN-specific network switch settings.
Perform the additional host configuration steps, including: Virtual switch configuration, NTP, DNS, routing, etc.
Configure disk groups on new nodes to be added to the vSAN datastore.
Add nodes to the cluster.
Validate functionality
Conducts a basic Knowledge Transfer.
Completes and delivers the Configuration Guide.
