Onsite Technician (Munich; SCCM; IT Support; Windows 10; Active Directory; English/German)
A German speaking, Onsite Support Technician is required for a long term contract in Munich.
The ideal candidate will be needed for the following;
Tasks and Responsibilities:
? Provides second-line investigation and diagnosis
? Resolves and closes incidents/service requests as per help desk procedures & allocated timelines
? Escalates unresolved incidents/service requests within agreed timescales
? Logs relevant incident/service request details per help desk procedures
? Communicates with client regarding incident progress
? Ensures tickets are always updated until issues are resolved
? Complies with the company's compliance, security and IT policies
? Liaises with clients, other client support groups and 3rd party providers when necessary
? Performs IMAC (Install, Move, Add and Change)
? Conducts hardware and software maintenance and support
? Troubleshoots and resolves PC incidents and/or VIP requests
? Coordinates with Service Desk/Suppliers for hardware repair
? Assists with Information Security Officer on IT security issues and virus elimination
? Assists local Server Team when server maintenance is required
? Creates/maintains documentation on ITSM tool
? Special events coverage (Townhall, ADHOC, Kickoff meetings)
? Connected Backup client support
? Local network support and/or assists Network/Platform team
? Setup, installation, configuration, upgrades, monitoring and troubleshooting of locally installed software/components in the laptops/desktops
? User account creation/deletion and file permissions
? End user data Backup management and maintenance as and when required
Skills and Requirements:
? Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent is preferred
? 1-3 years of relevant experience
? Windows client OS (Windows 10) administration
? OS Staging experience (Preferred with SCCM)
? Mac/iOS device administration knowledge is Plus
? Basic knowledge & understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft server operating system, File server, Backup, Anti-Virus
? Telephony system knowledge is plus (like Cisco/Avaya)
? Fluency in English & German language (spoken and written)
? Good interpersonal communication skills
? Understanding of customer satisfaction principles and practices
? Good organizational and time management skills
? Excellent troubleshooting skills, able to nail down tricky problems
? Must have strong interpersonal skills to work with globally distributed peers
