Project Description:
Consulting / implementation of interfaces
Consulting and implementation of new interfaces, PoC or move of existing interfaces to new data center based on assigned Change Requests (CR)
Technological environments:
- IBM app connect (IIB and MQ modules)
- SAP-PO / CPI / CIG
- SAP-EDI
Task Description:
Consulting for interface solution requests for different projects.
Independent technical coordination of interface enhancement requests based on assigned CRs. Based on the CR content details the appropriate technology need to be chosen and the timeline could be 1 week to 1 month.
The consultant will independently manage the consulting, functional design and implementation of interfaces for the application. The projects / enhancements have the following phases / milestones and tasks for application interfaces:
Analyse and Design:
•Consult / analyze application interface
requirements Business Process / interface Design
• Design interface solution
• Identify application requirements Requirement List (create CR`s in Snow, FD´s
using interface Word templates)
Build:
• Technical consulting in case of
new technology requirements – blue print FD / TD (using interface Word templates)
Integration test:
• Plan, create, check interfaces Interface Overview (Excel)
• Prepare and manage interface data Interface data functions / list (Word / Excel)
• Prepare and execute integration test Test case Document (SNOW, Excel)
User acceptance test:
• Plan, create, check interfaces Interface Overview (Excel)
• Prepare and manage interface data Interface data functions / list (Word / Excel)
• User acceptance test Follow-up and closure of Test cases
& Problem reports (SNOW, Excel)
Deploy and Cut over
• Prepare detailed cut-over plan Cut-Over Plan (Excel)
• Plan, create, check interfaces Checked interface Overview (Excel)
• Set-up deployment environment
• Prepare and manage interface data Interface Data Migration (Excel)
• Cut-Over activities Checked Cut-Over activity list (Excel)
Go-Live:
• Sign-off / Acceptance of cut-over plan Sign-Off Document for Go-live
• Manage and coordinate first interface runs
• Analyze and monitor Go-live evaluation
Post Go-live / Hypercare:
• Manage support activities Go-live Open Issue List (Exel)
• Coordinate Bug fixing
• Adjustments of scope (need to be defined) Additional CR and solution follow-up
