I am urgently searching for a freelance Network Security Engineer for a 6 month contract working in Frankfurt. My client are searching for somebody that can start working on a new project before the end of the year.Key Responsibilities
- Assessments of any new requirements from various stakeholder groups and provide a design framework to ensure the new requirements can be incorporated to the design for projects, tasks and network related activities.
- Design and implement Palo Alto Next-Gen Firewalls and Cisco Firewalls into existing and new networks utilising IPS threat detection and utilise identity-based Firewall rule sets where applicable.
- Provide day to day support of the Corporate Network, utilising IT ServiceNow to triage and manage incidents/requests, network monitoring, infrastructure documentation, working closely with Cyber Security teams as needed.
- Provide project support for the Corporate Network Team on projects, Network Infrastructure replacements, ensuring diagrams are maintained and updated.
- Creating test beds and testing configurations.
- Experience with AWS
