We are looking for a Azure DBA for a client in Düsseldorf.Job Description
The client is looking for support for ongoing project.
Role & Responsibilities
SPOC for the SQL Server database team
Perform database administration in Prod, UAT, Test environments
Perform database migration from on premise to Azure MI, SQL Database.
Provide post migration support for database
Determining the root cause of problems and identifying solutions
Performing the daily checks as part of a predefined rota.
Supporting the databases projects related activities
Performance monitoring and capacity planning
Database installation and configuration
Advanced administration (SQL Server Cluster, AlwaysOn, Mirroring, Replication & Log shipping, etc.)
Database hardening – Security, clustering & Stand by
Database Backup
Apply Patches and upgrade database
Security compliance
Audit trail monitoring
Co-ordination with interfacing team
Participating in Knowledge Transfer activities
Skills & Qualifications
Know How Azure, Azure SQL databases, worked on Azure DBs
SQL server Database administration
Hands-on experience with SQL Server
Experience in handling SQL VM, SQL MI & SQL database in Azure
Performed database migration from on premise to Azure.
Hands-on SQL Server migration experience using SSMA, DMA tools
Participating in Knowledge Transfer activities
Solid acquaintance with windows server, security delegation, SPNs, storage components.
