Communication and clearly defined processes are the key to success!For an exciting project for one of our clients, a global player in the banking sector we are looking for your excellent support as IT Technical Writer/ IT Analyst (m/f/d).
In this project you play an important role in the analysis, process development and documentation of a global IT infrastructure and its requirements. We are looking for a person with self-starter mentality and excellent communication skills for a highly technical environment, especially to secure the requirement and documentations regarding operating systems, like Linux/Unix.
The project is located in the area of London, UK or Frankfurt a.M., Germany
Your tasks:
- Analysis of existing infrastructure, processes and tools related to manage and control operating systems and its requirements in a global company environment
- Information acquisition and internal communication partner for IT, technical and IT departments and other internal relevant stakeholders
- Create, update, and manage high-quality documentation regarding IT infrastructure and system and software requirement and topics
- Support documenting governance Control Objectives and Control Requirements
- Investigate complex IT organization needs regarding Operation Systems (Linux, Unix, Windows) and controlling instruments
- Support developing and updating project schedules to allow tracking of project activities
- Preparation and definition of forms, instruction / operation manuals and guidelines
- Independent work in an international environment
- Translate technical information into clear, readable documents for technical and governance users
Required skills/experience:
- Degree in business, computer science, information technologies, technical documentation design or equivalent experience
- Relevant IT experience with databases, networks, applications, business processes, and business intelligence reporting
- Proven experience as IT Technical Writer/ IT Analyst
- Excellent knowledge about company requirements and processes regarding operating systems in a global company
- Practical knowledge with Linux or Unix or other operating systems is a big plus, as well as experience with enterprise applications
- Excellent in documentation of IT infrastructure, IT operation and knowledge management
- You love to communicate and present on a high level in an international environment with different stakeholder
- Proficiency understanding of business goals and objectives and the ability to keep senior management adequately informed
- Fluent written and spoken English, other language skill like German are an advantage
- Team player with self-motivated mentality and structured way of working
- Willingness to travel worldwide
- At best, you are in possession of a residence permit and work permit for UK and/or Germany
Project start: middle of January / February 2020
Duration: till end of 2020 with option to extend
