We are looking for a Test Manager in the Area of Zurich:Role Purpose:
- The Test Manager plans, controls and coordinates the entire test process within his area of responsibility.
- The Test Manager defines the test strategy in line with the CS Test Standard, ensures its implementation and evaluates the test results in order to give a recommendation to the project manager who decides on further steps.
- The Test Manager organizes the test teams (internal and external) and represents these as the single point of contact for the client.
- Test Manager conducts "Lessons Learned" meetings, gathers "Best Practice" examples and contributes to the process improvement.
Role Authority:
- Based on the test plan (defined exit/entry criteria), the test manager decides, if and when exit and entry criteria are fulfilled
- Based on the test plan (defined suspension and resumption criteria), the test manager decides, if test activities can be suspended or resumed
- Can accept or reject contracted deliverables from test team members or suppliers
Role Responsibilities:
- is responsible that all test activities are compliant with the CS Test Standard and Policies
- is responsible for ensuring the testability of the test basis
- is responsible for ensuring that all exit criteria for a test phase are met
- is responsible for ensuring the implementation of the defined and approved test strategy
- is responsible for planning, allocating and monitoring all test efforts
- is responsible for timely delivery of all contracted test deliverables as defined in the test schedule and for ensuring their quality as defined in the test plan
- is responsible for early escalation according to the escalation path
- is responsible for ensuring all defects are recorded and retested
- is responsible for ensuring proper communication according to the stakeholder involvement plan
- is responsible for ensuring traceability from test cases to requirements and from deviation records to test cases
