Tätigkeit:For one of our customers in NRW we are searching for an IT Infrastructure Solutions Architect (f/m) for the project Sierra. The consultant must be familiar with the latest IT Infrastructure design principles and product line technologies pertaining to: servers, distributed systems, Oracle, Linux, Data Ware Houses, Software (Server and Storage Virtualization, Server Prov., High Avail.), networks and security and must be able to develop complex IT infrastructure solutions for complex architectures. The successful candidate will perform specific support on a new security architecture project focusing on multiple security solutions. The architect will engage with an external design vendor and support driving, promoting, and documenting the architecture activities. The architect must have hands on experience in designing infrastructure-to-application solutions and the ability to converse at an executive level portraying management level knowledge in both. Travel within Europe is expected. The tasks are: conduct analysis, problem-solving, and evaluation activities on special topics related to designing an IT security infrastructure solutions, define and determine solution design objectives related to the Project & can lead/guide the efforts of others with the design vendor in these areas, provide technical guidance to other architect team members throughout the project life cycle, lead design architecture and feasibility studies in a large complex IT projects and environments. Required Skills: experience with communication documentation (Visio and PowerPoint), excellent English verbal/written skills. Term: January until March 2011 (with option of extension).
