IT Deskside Support Engineer | Walldurn, Germany | 6 months contract | ONLY German speakers

We are currently looking for a motivated IT Deskside Support Engineer to join a team in Walldurn, Germany. A great opportunity to work in the IT industry with new technologies and an international environment.

Requirements for the IT Deskside Support Engineer role:

  • Minimum 1-year hands-on experience as deskside/Onsite support/local IT engineer
  • Basic understanding of Audio/Video equipment and conference room setup
  • Experience in Providing Hands & feet Support for Network and Datacenter Equipment's/Devices
  • Strong Microsoft Operating System installation (Win 7 & Win10) and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong experience in troubleshooting MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Strong desktop support knowledge including hardware, software, and networking concepts
  • Strong skills in Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks and Printers and Handhelds
  • User account creation for Active Directory, Exchange Mailboxes, Distribution lists
  • Remote desktop connectivity applications like SMS, Bomgar, WebEx, Live Meeting, and Windows Native tools tool. Escalations
  • Troubleshoot and assist end users with mobile device setup, activations and performance issues.
  • Strong Customer service skills
  • Hand on Experience on ITSM tools like Service Now

Mandatory Certification for the IT Deskside Support Engineer role:

  • A+ Certified or Equivalent Certified or Knowledge of Network Operations

Soft Skills required for the IT Deskside Support Engineer role:

  • Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written) in German
  • Good documentation skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Including MS Project and Visio)
  • Should have great customer handling skills
  • Able to handle unforeseen situations
  • High level of acceptance
