L2 Network Engineer | Contract | 350 per day | Hamburg - Global Company
Job Description:
- Routing and switching technologies and corresponding protocols (eg Cisco and HP)
- IP services like ACL, High availability
- A10 Load balancer
- NAT
- VPN setups
- - Client
- - L2L
- Encryption methods and technologies
- SDWAN troubleshooting
- HTTP/HTTPS, reverse Proxy, SSL
- Experience in troubleshooting and fixing common misconfigurations as well as doing Root Cause Analysis for any of the above technologies
- A broad knowledge of networking and network equipment/operating systems with detailed experience with CISCO and HP
- Cisco Firewalls and A10, Load balancer
- Routing, Switches, ACI
- Motivated self-starter capable of working in a team environment as well as individually without direct supervision
- Detailed knowledge of the OSI model, routing (OSPF, BGP) and switching technologies (STP)
- Advanced troubleshooting skills within a data Centre or large enterprise network
- Cisco CCNA or similar, are highly preferable but not required based on previous experience
- Cisco Unified communication
