Embedded Software Engineer
Your Roles and Tasks as an Embedded Software Engineer
- Provide high level effort estimation to support planning activities
- Develop and implement software for Embedded/IoT device(telematics, Tablet etc) and systems
- Develop, code, test and troubleshoot application/firmware of IoT devic
- Discuss the issues, features, enhancement and firmware timeline with global team
- Analyze, monitor and improve performance, efficiency and stability of system
- Interact/align with other teams to understand the new application requirements.
- Support software QA to increase overall product quality
- Analyze and support operation issues
- Interface with global team for future hardware, platform design and development
Your responsibilities as an Embedded Software Engineer:
- 4-6 years of experience in Embedded system, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with development and troubleshooting on Embedded devices
- Good knowledge of CAN protocol and CAN replay tools like Canoe - Good knowledge of diagnosis protocols such as UDS
- Experience on working with Linux environment
- Experience in debugging issues in firmware and application
- Good application programming experience in C or Java - Experience in working with automobile sector will be plus
- Strong documentation and writing skill
