Job Title: Finance and Accounting Business Analyst
Location: Kiel, Germany

Job Description:
As a Finance and Accounting business analyst your main responsibilities will be
- Prepare and manage the transition plan across multiple functional areas supported by the Finance and Accounting applications including impairments accounting, Cost computations, Hedge Management Calculations, Corrections on IRRBB, IFRS 9 accounting, IFRS 10-12, sub-ledger and Ledger hierarchy, GL accounting, Calculation of provisions, P&L and Balance Sheet
- Leading the transition and the subsequent support of the Finance and Accounting applications and related operations from the incumbent IT team
- Support the technology team in understanding the business functionality, requirements and testing needs related to changes that need to be implemented
Responsibility
- In-depth, hands-on involvement directly with IT and operations for transition planning and execution.
- Work with incumbent team to understand the business processes supported by the Finance and Accounting related applications
- The gather the understanding of business process supported by the applications through documentation, meetings, workshops etc.
- Support the transition plan for migration of support from incumbent team
- Identify and document the business requirements, and with the customer project/systems team to implement those requirements. Follow up with the users to test the implementation, achieve signoff, and continue to move the system toward go-live.
- Work hands on with the system to configure it and test it to ensure that it meets the business requirements.
- This will include require working with the setup of input data, market data, setup of pricing parameters that drive the calculations related to Finance and Accounting related parameters.
- In addition, it will include the configuration of rules-based scenarios for preparing the inputs and entries that need to be posted to ledgers, sub-ledgers, balance sheet calculation, and P&L, impairments accounting etc.
- Experience of running workshops and engage with stakeholders at different levels of seniority
- Ability to liaise with development and testing teams, manage the testing life cycle including defect management
- Ability to deliver training both adhoc training of business users as well as white board training on site to business users
- Understanding of project methodologies (must be comfortable delivering tasks under both Waterfall and Agile methodologies)
- Strong background in finance and accounting, chart of accounts, impairments accounting, IFRS 9 requirements, P&L calculations, Balance Sheet, etc.

- Understanding of Capital Markets products (FX, Money Market Instruments, Fixed Income, Repo, and Equity)
- Understanding of the Finance and Accounting functional and data requirements
