I have a fantastic opportunity for a Systems Administrator who has good exposure and experience of working with MS Azure.
My client has a great reputation of delivering Sitecore CMS Platforms globally and are about to embark on one of their biggest and most exciting implementation projects with a highly reputable global organisation.
The successful Systems Administrator must have experience of working on a Sitecore Implementation Project previously and will form part of a distributed delivery team working on site 3 days per week in Stuttgart, Germany and the other 2 days from home.
Responsibilities of the Systems Administrator:
- Monitor, update and maintain existing Legacy environment software systems interfaces to ensure the interfaces exchange data properly and to support the current Legacy environment whilst implementation is taking place
- Application Monitoring, documentation and analysis of problems (including issue resolution and root cause analysis)
- Work closely with the application development teas and vendors to tune and troubleshoot applications
- Maintain system documentation
Systems Administrator technical skills:
- Excellent knowledge of state-of-the-art IT architecture with emphasis on cloud computing solution MS Azure
- Experience in managing and setting up a Content Delivery Network (Verizon)
- Experience in database management
- Exposure to DevOps environment
Working in an Agile/Scrum environment the successful Systems Administrator will be working Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day. My client will need the successful candidate to be on site in Stuttgart 3 days per week (ideally Mon-Weds) with the flexibility to work from home/remote Thursday and Friday. Flights and accommodation will be taken into consideration when factoring in an hourly or day rate.
