IT Support
We are looking for one resource for short assignment in Frankfurt on the 30.11.2010.
Work starts at 6 pm and it will be twelve hour shift.
Required Skills:
The skills required are ( 1+ years in the following):
Solaris, Linux (RedHat, SuSE), HP-UX, AIX, Windows
DNS, IP Addressing, Subnet Masks, Routing, & Gateways as applicable to servers and a Data Center environment
Settings and Configuration of printers and other office devices
Ability to perform technical server validation (Ping, Telnet, NFS/CIFS Mounts, Trust Relationships, etc.)
Ability to follow precise directions while contributing expertise to solve problems on the fly.
Scope
The scope of the project will include work activities targeted at supporting the Re-IP project. The scope of these activities includes:
Completing any remaining inventories on-site (count, type, location) of Assets for Re-IP in a location
Complete pre-work tasks including, but not limited to: Reboot of servers prior to IP address change (Validate return to service), perform backups, and confirm privileged access and connectivity to machines
Change IP address of an asset via an automated script and report results, or perform the Re-IP manually following a set of detailed instructions
Perform basic validation and testing per documented process to ensure the Re-IP process was successful
More detailed testing or interaction with server business owner or Sybase/SAP IT staff may be required upon request
Work with vendor to resolve any physical hardware failures that may occur in the course of your work tasks
Provide accurate reporting of task work completed and progress made to project/site management
