Our client is looking for a Full time SAP Project Manager to manage a project portfolio of 2 to 4 projects in parallel, with each project independent from each other, with its own timeline, technology, business owner and scope. Some projects are totally new and to be started where others are ongoing and could be taken from another project manager.
Each project is in the area of application/functionalities to be implemented in the domain of heavy industry Chemical production activities (plant maintenance, on site logistics execution/warehouse mgt, production execution/operations, HESQ production, plant reliability, plant steering, security, quality management, LIMS )
The projects often consist of a main application/technology package to be implemented/configured requiring integration to other systems or change in other systems, including SAP. It could also require infrastructure activities like server provisioning, installation on server and network Firewall opening. It could be also connected to SaaS implementation.
Ideal profile:
- General Project Management experience-oriented application implementation. Experience on hybrid project interfacing with SAP or changes on SAP is appreciated.
- Good technical and business process management experience
- Working in multi outsourcing environment. Experience in managing off shore resources.
- multi level planning and resource allocation
- cost management and budgeting, activity/time sheet control
- experience in respecting project life cycle governance and documentation
- proven track managing project in large companies
- experience in test management, cutover management, transfer to BAU
- experience in managing 2 to 3 projects in parallel
- experience in running software/solution selection process including RFP
- experience in change mgt supporting business stakeholders à Strategy, planning, coord.
The consultant will be based in the office in Zaventem and will be reporting to the IT service delivery manager for the production area.
The position could require some travel to Oslo or other offices of the group in Europe. These will be planned long time in advance.
