Job Description

Responsible to perform daily Application Operations, on call duty, project activities, deployment executions of Web Application services and Service Optimization. Services are deployed on complex corporate environments integrated with Local Platforms, Global Platforms and Platforms of suppliers. Responsible for delivering within the relevant SLA-defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Key Accountabilities

Incident, Problem and Service Request Management
• Responsible for GO hosted Application. • Responsible for incident, problem and service request management including implementation of workarounds and changes • Responsible for 24x7 service availability by means of on call duty • Responsible for root cause analysis and sustainable solution generation • Responsible for preparation and execution of service requests • Responsible for proper operation in terms of configuration, changes, implementation, rollout and preparation for all operated services and all tools which are or will be deployed in GO Application Operations • Responsible for day-to-day communications to GO Service Desk • Ensure timely notification to GO Service Desk of all service impacting incidents • Enable application service desk to fulfill predefined task to improve time back to service in case of service disruptions
Monitoring, Housekeeping and Reporting
• Responsible for Application Monitoring in alignment. • Responsible for standard housekeeping tasks • Responsible for monitoring performance / availability / capacity / batch jobs • Responsible for delivering Alarms, Classification & Instructions for the Monitoring entity. • Responsible application related database administration
Deployments and Project execution
• Responsible to perform application deployment execution including releases and patches • Responsible for standardized application deployment • Make / Support decision about operational acceptance • Responsible to plan, test, document and track changes • Actively contribute to application architecture
End-to-end service operations for platform components and selected applications
• Understand the end 2 end chain were the application is part of.
Service Optimization and Improvement
• Responsible for basic improvements and optimisations
Customer and Supplier Management
• Responsible for managing, tracking and discussing on a regular basis the achieved service and performance with the Service Provider / Supplier. Take actions to improve the service and relationship

Requirements

Strong IT/ Application Operating background and experience in managing complex technology, if possible with university degree in Information Technology • Strong Project Management Skills • Sound experience in IT service provisioning (preference in the telecommunication industry) • Broad experience and knowledge of mobile internet communication, protocols, infrastructure, applications, services and integrations. • Deep understanding of operational procedures and process standards (e.g. ITIL) • Well developed technical knowledge across a broad range of IT topics • Experience in conducting contract negotiations with customers and suppliers • Fluent English • Experience and background in a complex business environment and working in international teams • Ability to accomplish goals • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Good team player skills
