We are looking for a Data Base Software Developer, Web Channel Management

Project Description: Supporting the localization process we have implemented an administration tool for tracking content from the planning phase, through translation and Web deployment. We need support for the continuous development of this tool, to serve a wider user group and automate the information interfaces between departments. We are looking for someone with solid knowledge of Microsoft Access and SQL Server. The task entails the following activities.
¿h Capturing requirements from different user groups
¿h Database design (SQL Server), and implementation of interfaces to external systems (WCMS)
¿h Further development of an existing MS Access 2007 application
¿h Debugging and error tracking
¿h Documentation and user support
Start: ASAP
End: End of February
Last: 68 days
Location: Are Mannheim or Regensdorf (CH)
Activity: part-time (50%)
Requirements: Strong analytical skills and ability to transform stakeholder requirements into software design
Experience in Database design
Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, connecting to local stakeholders as well as a wide network of internal stakeholders in the global organization
Effective oral and written communication skills
Familiarity with working in a virtual team structure and ability to excel in remote electronic communication like Net Meeting, Video, Wiki etc.
High degree of self-organization and flexibility.
We are looking for an individual with at least 3 years of work experience, who has successfully worked in development projects in an international environment.
College degree, with a computer science background
Proven experience with SQL Server, Microsoft Access 2007 and VBA programming
Fluent English and proficiency in German. Additional language skills are a plus.
