Project Leader SAP Roll-Out
Our client is a manufacturer and retailer of equipment and machines for industrial / agricultural applications.
The Project
The client is currently conducting a project to rollout SAP globally, as a part of their global manufacturing and distribution capacities enhancement project.
The current scope of the project (called 2b) is to rollout SAP into the assembly / manufacturing lines in Germany as of ca. February 2011. The rollout includes two steps: rollout into the old production facilities and within the following months into the new production site.
In parallel, SAP will be rolled out to one of the smaller businesses in the Netherlands.
The Role
Tasks
? Manages Project 2b in Germany and the Netherlands implementation to ensure delivery on time, within budget in the defined quality.
? Responsible for Scope management on project level.
? Ensures that tasks of different teams are focused on project deliverables.
? Manages additional requests not part of the initial scope.
? Measures and monitors progress of the deliverables to ensure that the business capability is delivered on time and within budget by applying the defined project management tools.
? Manages risks within the project and escalates them if needed.
? Leads 2b / Netherland team and works closely with the team of implementation partner
? Reports to VP, IT.
? Communicates regularly with functional and cross-functional team leads
? Additional tasks might be added for example getting rollout in France started, depending on internal direction and priorities.
Requirements
? Extensive Project Management / leadership experience in complex SAP implementation projects
? Discrete manufacturing industry experience required, ideally in Automotive, Aerospace, Transport
? Experience in conducting complex projects in multinational companies with Matrix organizations
? High level of business acumen and solution architecture understanding
? Strong communication and presentation skills at senior leadership level
? Good team management skills
? Fluent in English and German
