Aktuell suchen wir für einen unserer Kunden in der Bankenbranche einen Technical Supporting Function CIOs (m/w/d).
Projektbeschreibung:
Serena Dimensions is deprecated and all systemic and critical applications (around 330) which currently use Serena Dimensions need to be migrated to the standard tools Subversion and Maven.
Our customer is requesting additional support due to the high number of applications to be migrated. The standard tool stack consists of Subversion for versioning, Maven for build and Gandalf (inhouse tool) for central build and deployment.
We are looking for an external consultant who will be able to support technically the CIOs in the migration from Serena Dimensions to Subversion and from currently used build technology to Maven.
In 2020 it is planned to migrate also all other applications (about 600 not systemic/critical).
Aufgaben:
• provide technical support to application experts who have to migrate their applications from Serena Dimensions to Subversion
• act as a central point for support requests and issues
• advice users in the structuring of their Subversion repository / setting up the project for the Maven build in context of our inhouse standards
• hold introductory training about migration activities
• write guidelines about migration activities
• The ideal resource will have an advanced understanding of Subversion, Serena Dimensions and Maven
Skills:
• Several years of experience with the usage of Subversion
• Several years of experience with the usage of Maven
• Several years of experience with the usage of Serena Dimensions
• Very good knowledge in the usage of Java / J2EE
• Familiar with the usage of Eclipse
• Nice to Have: Knowledge of Solaris package build
• Nice to Have: Knowledge of Ant
• Nice to Have: Knowledge of Nexus
• English fluent written & spoken
• Strong guidance and technical advice
• Strong communicator and influencer with application experts of different CIOs
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
• Excellent analytical skills with structured and logical approach to problem solving
• Results orientated proactive and self-starter able to work under pressure
• Presentation and documentation skills
