Application Packager / Release Management• Work with AdminStudio/InstallShield to create custom msi installers for Windows 7/8/10 OS platforms.
• Create msi custom actions to perform complex installer operations
• Use Microsoft transforms to customize vendor sources
• Create custom packages using VB script frameworks
• Setup applications using different models in deployment tools like SCCM
• Deploy application and operating systems using a deployment tool, preferably Microsoft SCCM
• Create complicated automation scripts using : Windows Command Shell Script, VBScript and/or Powershell.
• Resolve installation and troubleshoot basic Windows issues
• Co-ordinate with multiple stakeholders for the scheduled software delivery process
• Perform multiple levels of application testing to ensure successful software release
• Create custom communication emails for organizational information delivery about release deadlines
• Patch Management through SCCM and/or WSUS
• Interaction with 1st level Contact Center, 2nd/ 3rd level support teams to work on topics in the context of release management processes
• Troubleshooting, Installation, administration, and maintenance of complex Windows-based clients
• Troubleshooting with the user to resolve a problem
• Support for applications dedicated to the business; e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters
• Consulting, know-how transfer of IT skills to end users
• Hardware Interventions on the client (Ordering and monitoring the repair process in interaction with local Administration)
• Participate in the daily business of IT projects (if required)
