Software Development Engineer (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Define architecture and structure for advanced automation platform
- Develop the HMI for automation process programming
- Develop software code for integration of 3rd party equipment
- Define and provide interfaces on hardware side (i.e. for field busses, camera vision functionality, SPS and others
- Define and provide interfaces for Cloud and Edge computing
- Document deliverables and provide transparent revision management
Main qualifications
- Profound experience in software development in industrial automation industry
- Clear vision about the architecture of an advanced automation platform
- Excellent knowledge of software tools, i.e. C#/C++/Labview
- Excellent knowledge of communication protocols and field busses, i.e. OPC-UA/USB/RS485/Ethercat
- Strong experience in agile software development
- Excellent self-management capabilities and very structured, pragmatic, target focused workstyle
- Very good German and English language skills
