Automation/Selenium/Java/BDD/Cucumber/TDD
The Role
Initially the role will be focused on building out a new automation framework, integrating this into the existing build process.
You will have the opportunity to take ownership of and direct the creation of a new automation framework, integrating this into the build and deployment process of a cutting-edge cloud-based platform.
- Define test cases, based on both the Story definitions, conversations with the Product Owner and the development team
- Execution of test cases and logging of results.
- Develop, maintain automation frameworks.
- Effectively communicate testing activities and test findings.
- Reporting, tracking and ensuring timely remediation of defects
- Supports test manager to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Organises and maintains Regression pack.
Required Technical Skills
- Experience in setting up/working with automation frameworks from scratch
- Selenium/Webdriver/Java with Page Object Model
- SQL Server (T-SQL)
- Experience in Testing REST APIs using tools like REST assured, SOAP UI or equivalent.
- Experience of Continuous Integration systems (Jenkins, TeamCity)
- Experience working in BDD/Cucumber
Desirable Technical Skills
- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
- Experience of non-functional testing such as performance, load or security testing
- Experience of working in an Agile environment
