For one of our clients in Dusseldorf we're looking for a freelance Network Security Consultant (f/m):Tasks:
• Collect data about network layout, design and inventory of acquisitions of the last 5-7 years
• Clarify unclear layouts or designs with local teams. We must ensure that provided data shows reality and all involved parties have the same understanding of the current environment. Clarifications are part of the ordering.
• Cooperate with different corporate teams within the client for all services covered in scope to provide appropriate assessment: all discovered items may be discussed with related teams to understand the purpose and use of installed solution. Teams may be in area of endpoint, network, security and application. Identified issues will be documented but not solved.
• Documentation of as-is status and identified weaknesses
• Assess security risks for existing environment
• Provide recommendations for mitigation of identified risks
