Channel Partner Management Program Expert (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
  • Develop, implement and communicate effectively attractive commercial models for channel partner management programs and activities
  • Evolve/re-engineer the business (planning/management) processes to maintain a 3-year planning horizon and an annual operating plan with clear quarterly and monthly KPIs across global and geographical scope
  • Creating and executing a territory channel business plan focused on demand creation, sales growth and partner development
  • Report program status and best-in-class partnerships to all stakeholders prepares and present periodic status reports and monthly Program Management Reviews with the Executive Leadership Team
  • Drive performance management through monthly/quarterly reviews to review overall business performance across the organization and to measure against transformational goals and business plans
  • Excellent Partner Development and active partner relationship management skills to ensure alignment with company objectives, and proven success in delivering Go-to-Market strategies and results in a highly competitive environment
  • Provide insights and rigor about partner execution and key strategic initiatives; out of the box thinking to accelerate growth; and illustrating hands-on involvement in KPI attainment
  • Develop and manage process for issues identification and resolution
  • Appropriately escalates unresolved issues in accordance with the company’s governance model


Main qualifications
  • Profound experience as a Channel/Partner Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Account Executive, Business Development Manager or Sales-focused consultant
  • Prior experience in both direct and channel sales models, vendor management, channel partner management, strategy development, program implementation, organizational development, and business process (re-) engineering
  • Experience in working with multiple CRM systems (SugarCRM, Salesforce.com)
  • High energy - brings innovative ideas to the team and champions best practices
  • Self-starter and the ability to work independently and with a strong sense of urgency and passion to make great things happen
  • Experience in understanding customer needs and business drivers and using this knowledge to develop account plans and strategies (knowledge of the existing account areas/channels would be advantageous)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with channel partners, executive management, other company departments, and vendors
  • Proven capability to work in a multi-cultural global team and collaborate; with independent accountability
  • History of successful cross-functional projects and management
  • Fluency in English and German (verbal and written)
  • Ability to present information in front of larger audiences in an international context
  • Ability to proactively identify areas in the channel partner management strategy that require strengthening (i.e. models, processes and tools)
