We are looking for Big Data Business analyst (m/f/x) for our client in Munich / Hamburg, Germany.Hiring Type: Contract

Job Description:
• 6+ years of experience in Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs.
• Knowledge of documenting requirements define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.
• Familiar with relational database and Big Data concepts.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and DWH is preferred
• Business Intelligence experience with at least one of the following tools: Business Objects, Oracle, Tableau, Power BI
• Experience contributing to and managing the planning and execution activities for the following SDLC phases:
• Systems analysis and requirements definition
• Systems design
• System Testing
• User Acceptance Testing
• Maintenance and operation support
• Experience with data analysis techniques, data modeling and data management tools (e.g., MS SQL Server, SQL language, relational databases and No SQL Databases)
• Experience in Big Data tools like Hadoop, Hbase, Phoenix, Hive, Sqoop etc.
• Understanding of relational & dimensional modeling
• Understanding of data privacy & security rules
• Knowledge of Agile and waterfall development techniques
• Proven ability to work with customers, DBAs, ETL programmers, Business intelligence architects, and PMO staff in a collaborative manner.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business users in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational
• Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
• Proficiency in German Language is must
