OverviewOur customer is looking for a python developer, responsible for developing within and for our automation and orchestration platform.
Tasks:
- Python development for our automation and orchestration platform
- Custom app and process development
- Work directly with users and support them through the whole development lifecycle
- Provide professional service to internal customers for python development within the platform
- Participate fully in the planning, implementing, testing and debugging code lifecycle
- Translate internal customer requirements in to functional code
Technical Skills:
- Intermediate to senior Python developer skills, particularly with APIs and custom development?
- Familiarity with developer and DevOps skills such as version control, build pipelines, testing methodologies, and deployment of Python apps?
- Knowledge of agile development?
- Strong technical and analytical background?
- Previous relevant IT experience (additional IS experience is a plus)?
- Previous experience with automation and orchestration systems, preferably Phantom is a plus?
- Familiarity with applications commonly used in information security infrastructure is a plus?
- UNIX knowledge and PostgreSQL experience is a plus?
Non-technical skills:
- Degree from a four-year university or major course work in computer science, networking, engineering or other computer-related field of study, or equivalent experience in relevant IS or IT fields
- Excellent inter-team communication skills
- able to work under own initiative while also being a dependable team player
- Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision?
- Excellent team worker, able to work in virtual global teams in a matrix organization?
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and keep pace with technical/operational innovation?
- Familiarity with an information security environment is a plus?
- Prior experience working in large financial organization is preferred but not required?
- Good communication skills, fluent in English (written/verbal)?
