A really good client of ours near Stuttgart, Germany is currently looking for a talented, experienced and available Senior Embedded Software Engineer for their busy project that starts to ramp up soon.
They are experts in Audio equipment and are one of the leading companies within their industry, they are involved in some exciting projects and have recently won a tender for a huge project which is why they are looking to grow their team.
The contract length is 6 or 12 months initially with the option to extend, the client is expecting a 2 year engagement with this consultant. They are offering a very good pay rate and they are an exciting and growing company and now is the most exciting time to join them.
Responsibilities of the Senior Embedded Software Engineer:
- Design and development of software for innovative and high-quality Pro-Audio devices, such as system amplifiers, signal processors and network devices;
- Optimization for available resources of Embedded systems with ARM and x86 processors under Linux or RTOS
- Integration and testing of the developed software on module and system level
- Version management and documentation
- Observing new technologies and tools and assisting in their introduction
- Collaboration in the design of system and product concepts and in project and task planning
- Independent work in an open-minded and dedicated development team with a wide range of professional skills a high degree of individual responsibility.
Requirements of the Senior Embedded Software Engineer:
- Intermediate German reading/writing and speaking skills are essential
- Relevant university degree or equivalent professional education and experience
- Embedded C and C++ development; 5 years+
- Experience with C ++, Eclipse, GCC and Linux would be an advantage
