Consultant for technical activities and support for migration of applications from Serena Dimensions to
Subversion and from Central build own build technology to Maven.
The consultant should already have the needed experiences and knowledge about
Subversion, Maven. After a short instruction/handover into our environment, tools, processes, and current
implementation he/she should be able to start activities.
The consultant shall work together with the other project members and with the developers of the
application who have to migrate their application
Tasks:
Central point for support requests and issues. Communication to our colleagues and to the requesting
developers
Support developers who have to migrate in setting up their projects in maven in context of our inhouse
standards regarding central build and deploy processes
Support developers who have to migrate in migrating the needed source code from Serena Dimensions to
Subversion – in technical and scope point of view
Skill:
Several years of experience with the usage of Subversion
Several years of experience with the usage of Maven
Very good knowledge in the usage of Java / J2EE
Familiar with the usage of Eclipse
English proficient written & spoken
