Our client, a leading automotive company, are seeking an Information Security Senior Specialist to join their team on a 12 month contract in Munich, Germany.
Note, the candidate MUST be fluent in English and German.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operation of the central anti-virus platform for Servers and storage systems, including but not limited to:
- General administration of the Symantec infrastructure
- Infrastructure life cycle planning and capacity planning
- Provisioning, monitoring and maintenance
- Provide outstanding customer service to all of our client's customers
- Troubleshoot and detect security issues, create incident tickets and manage problems until closure
- Coordinate escalations and collaborate with internal technology teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Perform system maintenance and maintain current documentation
- Work with multiple staff and vendor teams to support the care and feeding of existing infrastructure, optimize existing products and participate as needed in any architectural re-engineering and configurations discussions
- Proactively identify and recommend updates to software, hardware, or architecture as necessary and in accordance with information security operations and engineering objectives
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure that the client's team and the Information Security Operations Center are able to meet our customers' expectations and deliver quality services within specified service level agreements and contractual obligations
- Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this post and as advised by Management
Key Skills :
- Displays good verbal and written language skills in both German and English
- Experience working with international multilingual teams
- Experience with design, architecture and implementation of services in the areas of anti-virus and intrusion prevention for server and storage environments
- In-depth knowledge and experience with implementing and installing the following technologies:
- Antivirus Projects including installation
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Symantec SEPM, SIEM and SSIM
- Administration of Symantec Servers, appliances and distributed repositories.
- Configuring tasks, policies, scheduled scans and adding scan exclusions based on client's requirement
- Performing daily activities, monitoring and remediation of Servers for virus infections and threats
- Event logs monitoring and analysis
- Vulnerability assessment of critical application Servers
Qualifications : Windows, VMware or Symantec certifications desired
