The client is looking to on-board an experienced contractor to serve as their Digital Officer, this will start on a contracting basis with an option to be internalised as the programme progresses.
The role will begin as an advisory position, becoming familiar with the company, their products and their processes and helping them to decide which consultancy would be best suits to their needs, particularly assessing the technical competence of the consultancy and if their solutions would match the client's needs.
The role would then progress into a Digital Officer position where He/She will act as the central pillar of the programme connecting the Consultancies, Senior Management, Project Teams and Internal Teams. Ensuring that the projects run smoothly, helping to handle any issues that arise and ensuring that everyone is aligned to the current situation and the next steps. Whilst starting as a contractor this will be thought of as an internal position in the long run hence an option to internalise.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in technical subject such as: Computer Science or Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in consulting, system integration and business process transformation.
- Technical experience with programming, cloud architecture and solution design for IoT.
- Previous academic or work experience in Manufacturing and Engineering is a must.
- Strong communication and organisation skills with an ability to explain technical concepts in a non-technical language.
- English language skills are a must, German would be a plus.
- Work authorisation for the EU a must.
