Position: Network Engineer

Client: TCS

Duration: 3 - 6 months + Extension

Job description:

  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocol stack
  • Good understanding of Network design concepts and topologies
  • Experience in EIGRP and OSPF routing protocols
  • Experience in Configuring and Troubleshooting BGP routing protocol
  • Good in understanding/troubleshooting Network issues.
  • Hands on experience on Cisco ASR Routers and Nexus 7K, 5K, 2K Switches
  • Hands on experience on VLANs, STP and HSRP/VRRP.
  • Hands on experience on Cisco ACE and F5 Load Balancers.
  • Experience in handling Multi-layered Datacenter network environment.
  • Good understanding of port channel and link aggregation protocols
  • Strong exposure in WAN technologies MPLS & DMVPN Technology
  • Fluent German.
  • Exposure on LAN Switch: 
    1- how to do code upgrade on new Cisco switch
    2- how to check up time in switch
    3- how to check interface status
    4 - how VLAN,VTP, STP works 
  • Routing:
    1- what is BGP and types of BGP
    2- what is OSPF and conditions for neighbor establishment in OSPF
    3- what is AD value of OSPF and BGP 
  • Experience in Wireless:
    Should Know:
    1- what is process WLAP register to the Cisco WLC
    2- What is option 43 and why does its used in WLAN.
