Position Title: System Engineer - Windows & SCCMBranch: Automotive
Location: München
Duration: 5 Months
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Key tasks include software distributions, OS deploys and unattended installs, system update (patch) management, inventory and compliance, SCUP, Agent and DP Management, custom application deployment, scripting and automation.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all of client customers
• Supervise efficient application of various window patches and security controls
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution, to include but not limited to, issues with site-to-site communication, package distribution, SCCM advanced client and operating system deployment
• Contribute to the development of industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise Server technologies
• Evaluate emerging technologies to ensure technical solutions are compatible with the Company's business needs and strategic objectives
• Investigate, analyse and resolve technical issues and actively pursue mechanisms for preventing, or automating the response to faults
• Any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of this post and as advised by management
Key Skills:
• Displays good verbal and written language skills in both German and English
• Experience working with international multilingual teams
• Demonstrates the NTT Data Services Values of Clients First, Foresight and Teamwork in everything they do
• Expert knowledge of Operating System Deployment in SCCM (boot image, drivers, OS image and task sequences)
• Good knowledge of software packaging and software updates
• Expert knowledge of troubleshooting SCCM Servers, DPs and Clients (installation, software updates and software packaging issues)
• Experience with scripting, preferably PowerShell
• Good understanding of Windows Server operating system and VMware ESXi
• Extensive experience in the implementation, administration, troubleshooting and configuration of SCCM Enterprise environment
Qualifications: Windows, SCCM and/or VMware certifications desired
Work Experience: Minimum 8 years’ tenure as a System Engineer with extensive experience supporting and troubleshooting SCCM.
