APIGEE System Engineer
Need mid senior APIGEE Developer/System Engineer with experience in API design, configuration and management with Apigee. this is a 6-12 months contract in Dusseldorf, Germany for major Telco company.
Technical Skills:
- Have strong RESTful API design skills and experience with API management tools Such as Amazon API gateway, APIGEE
- Have strong experience with distributed system design
- Have experience with Agile software development life cycle tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Exposure to cloud-based software development environment in AWS
- Possess strong system modelling skills (UML, data structures)
- Experience with UI design and experience with usability patterns
- Have experience with SOA and micro-services design principles and patterns
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Process Skills:
- Have strong communication skills both oral and written and should have passion for technology and the ability to quickly learn a new business domain
- Interact with product and business stakeholders in requirements definition
- Own the functional design and documentation of new and enhanced systems
- Work with architects and development teams on technical system design
- Work with a team in the agile software development cycle from story grooming through delivery, functional testing and retrospectives
- Take an ownership role in defining the functional road-map for products and technical components
- Assist support teams in solving user issues Validate changes by testing applications
- Train users on the operation of systems Mentor and lead team members
Behavioural Skills:
- Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.
- Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction
