The Operational Excellence department manages and delivers a wider project portfolio across the client's organization and is looking for an OE Expert to support the currently ongoing OE Projects. Planned project duration: august 2018 until july 2019.
Diagnostic Phase:
- Through a holistic approach identify the full range of potential improvement areas
- Prioritize improvement areas and cluster them into potential initiatives and practical applications to be tackled throughout the implementation phase
Design & Implementation:
- Delivering impact (adding value, time saving and cost reduction), and to a lesser extent build capabilities and create cultural shift
- Deep dives to understand root causes, design and implement solutions to most important challenges of the business
Capability Building & Deployment:
Training (boot camp) & Practical Applications
- Building capabilities, creating cultural shift and delivering impact
- Lay Foundation for a sustainable Management System
- Through training, coaching and learning by doing (practical applications), enable the business to embed OE ways of working in to their day to day work and continuously improve what they do:
Training for team leaders to ensure they can apply OE tools to their day to day work
Workshops with teams to ensure knowledge transfer into the whole organization
Covering a comprehensive set of tools and principles to ensure the flow from standardize to manage & operate and improve is understood.
Task Description for an OE Expert:
Consultancy in the area of Operational Excellence Management with the aim to deliver in time and on budget a wider project portfolio of the currently ongoing Operational Excellence Projects across the client's organization. This includes:
- Delivering implementation and apply Operational Excellence DCB approach in the business projects in line with the Operational Excellence competencies
- Ensuring capability building according to our standard implementation approach
- Ensuring coaching of business colleagues to adopt the OE approach and to implement Operational Excellence tools
- Consulting for steering and monitoring overall implementation and manage tasks by delivering assigned project work packages
