Senior DevOps EngineerDuration: 6 months
Location: Dresden
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building, deploying, orchestrating and automating the deployment of application packages. Also, setting up the application and Web Servers.
About the role:
• Work with senior leaders to shape the containerisation go-forward vision for the company
• Work with vendors and partners on the successful strategy, planning and implementation of critical tooling and platforms
• Participates in and influence development of technology solutions and roadmaps across the enterprise
• Have a strong working knowledge of continuous integration and delivery in the Agile context
• Experience with operations in AWS services ( S3, IAM, CFN, AMI, VPC and Private Link)
• Experience in helping Production Java or Scala
• Expertise in the automation and configuration tools Chef and Ansible
• Working experience with containers and container orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes)
• Proven experience in adding valuable automation to problem areas
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to success in highly-dynamic environment
• B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
