Our client in Berlin is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (m/f/d) for their consumer product development team. The consumer product development team creates products for the public part, supported by modern web technologies and microservices.Next to your typical engineering duties with activities such as software design, development and bug fixing you’ll be expected to collaborate closely with other dev teams, SiteOps as well as participate in discussions, give your opinion and your ideas and contribute to the solution of problems.
Required Skills:
- Java experience (Java11, Spring, Dropwizzard), JavaScript experience a plus
- Experience and good understanding of messaging systems (RabbitMQ/Kafka)
- Familiarity with CI Deployment Tools (Github/Jenkins) and container based deployments (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Working experience with agile methodologies
- Fluent English (fluent German would be nice)
- Knowledge of typical web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- Strong communication skills & effective team player
- Experience at web companies
