For one of our clients we are looking for a OSM ConsultantTask description:
The Consultant will be assigned to the OSM product implementation in Fulfillment stream to assist rolling out wireless (CDMA, GSM) and Wireline service (Broadband, IP based networks etc). The role consists of providing guidance in deploying best practice proactive fulfillment systems and processes. Candidate must provide leadership in achieving the best outcome in delivering a Fulfillment solution that enable Service Provider to become more responsive to changing technologies and to support provisioning of next generation services.
Main responsibilities:
§ Provide and percolate detailed solution on OSM 7.0 product Architecture (COM and SOM) to team.
§ Understand, compare and migrate the OSM 6.x.x to OSM 7.x.x
§ Validate the application requirements to meet overall business process needs.
§ Understand and percolate the understanding on OSM 7.0 cartridges provided out of box as samples to team.
§ Help team for performing plug-in development which includes development of Java plug-in, DB plugin and XSLT plug-ins
§ Suggest Oracle best practices for implementation of OSM 7.x.x
§ Participate and contribute in the Architecture discussion forum with respect to OSM product.
§ Validate the Solution design from product Architecture perspective designs utilize the application architecture components appropriately
§ Validate with Product modelling solutions and mapping of legacy products to OSM.
Required skills:
§ Hands on experience on OSM 6.x.x or OSM 7.0
§ Understanding of the Telecom domain and the role of fulfillment systems within this context.
§ Experience with Enterprise and solution level integration using industry standard standards, technologies and systems.
§ Demonstrated ability to actively cooperate with external parties such as system integrators and package vendors
§ High level of communication & presentation skills (both written & verbal)
§ Experience architecting IT solutions that manage the fulfilment processes for various products/ technology such as Mobile, POTS, DSL, Broadband, VPN, Managed WAN for different customer segments (highly desirable)
