We are urgently looking for a Senior Information Designer for our client in the area Mannheim.Start: asap till end of 2010 + option for 2011; fulltime
location: remote possible or onside area Mannheim
Languages: German and English fluently
Position Duties +amp; Responsibilities
Lead the design process as part of overall stakeholder engagements by delivering new and innovative designs. Design navigation and user interfaces with sitemaps, paper prototypes/wireframes, screen mock ups, behavioural specifications, style guides and icons. Conduct Expert Reviews and consult on User Centred Design process. Conduct requirements gathering session and perform content analysis.80%
Define, socialize and implement best practices for user experience design, leveraging industry standards. 30%
Required Know-How:
-User Experience Design. The qualified candidate will have extensive demonstrable experience designing excellent user experiences for a wide variety of audience types and intimately familiar with creating information architecture and user interface designs, graphic design for interface design, content analysis, information graphics and icons. In addition this candidate will have experience with translating business strategy into the digital environment, creating user scenarios, business process task flows, taxonomies and mental models

- Software and system skills. The ideal candidate will have some familiarity with enterprise-wide systems (not necessarily SAP solutions). Typical systems include portals, content management systems, collaboration technologies, as well as systems for sales tracking (CRM), Purchasing, Finance, and others. A strong functional understanding is required, and a deeper technical expertise is a plus. Qualified candidates must demonstrate experience designing interfaces for CSS, HTML, XHTML, and Javascript.
Experience: The qualified candidate will have 7+ years of work-related experience in project-based user interface design activities
Education. The qualified candidate will hold a Masters degree in Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or a related design field. Advanced degrees strongly desired.
