DataStage Job description:
- As a DataStage Dev-Ops Engineer, the person gets to develop DataStage code and its related assets for end client.
- Looking for a strong technical background with at least 6 - 7 years experience.
- The candidate has to take complete ownership of his/her code from Development to Production.
- Daily activities involve: Datastage flow, Testing, UAT, Productiontion of the software.
- Should have a working experience in Agile. It is most preferred if the person has understanding of Dev-Ops culture and be an active team player.a
Primary skill set :
- Proficient in DataStage
- Version Control tool: GIT - (Basic)
- Integration tool: Jenkins (Basic - hands on preferred)
- Scheduling and Monitoring: Tivoli workload Scheduler (TWS) and Opswise ( hands on experience for any other similar scheduling tool can also be considered.)
- Shell Script: Unix
- Programming Language: SQL, PL/SQL
Soft Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Able to understand requirements and engage with stakeholder
Certification in Datastage is a plus.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: English is a must/ French or dutch is an advantage.
LOCATION: Belgium and Netherlands
START DATE: ASAP or 15th Mar 2019
DURATION: 12 months (extension possible)
TRAVEL: The person should be able to work Cross border - Netherland and Belgium. He/she will be working 3 days a week in Netherlands and 2 days in Belgium or vice versa. - accomadation and travel will covered by clinet
